Poblano’s Mechanic & Muffler Shop

I pulled up today for a slow leak fix to one of the tires. I asked how long and he said about 10 minutes. I go check 20 minutes later and he was standing around with another guy and said give me a moment. 10 minutes after that, still standing around and he said give me 8 minutes. I was there around 40 minutes and they took my tire off first thing so I couldn’t just leave. I let him know when he went to take payment that if it would be more than 10 minutes to just say that. He just shrugged and said it was lunch. Ok, so if I had known, I would’ve come back in 30-40 minutes.

Highly recommend. Google address is currently messed up, when you get to the place it looks like a house next to a strip mall. Shop is actually on Rock Island Rd and S Rogers.

They Charge too much for everything.. I went to change my car oil rather than changing it myself since oil pan's nut was rounded with no threads.. I had carried oil and oil filter .First they quoted $20 just to change oil, then they said it's gonna be $40 since the bolt is tough to remove . Then they charged extra $10 to put new bolt which doesn't even cost 50 cents .. finally they charged me $50 to oil change provided both oil and oil filter were given to them ...

I was on the expressway, headed out of state, when my tire pressure began to rapidly decline. On Star found this place for me on a Sunday afternoon when all others were closed. I called the shop and Juan said I could come in right away. When I pulled in he stopped what he was doing, removed and patched tire, and had me back in the road in 15 minutes - without gouging me for the emergency!! Blessed by this shop.

I went to get my front right tire changed and every shop was super busy. I remembered that we always went there to get things done to all my families cars and they were excellent in service, courteous, and reasonable in price. But it so happened to just closed. My tire went flat as I was talking and he made an extra special exception to go get the keys, open the shop, and changed my tire. What a GOD send! Praise God for him! Absolutely Appreciated!
